I just cant resist!

So this week I finally finished my second year of university so i've been allowing myself to have a few treats or buy things that I maybe shouldn't with my student funds! So far I've had a really nice week spending time with my friends and just generally chilling out. Costa coffee does the best hot chocolates with marshmallows and belgian chocolate brownies! If you haven't tried either of them you need too, its a must! SO yummy! The next day I went into uni to do some personal work which was nice for a change to not have to do something without demanding deadlines. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a challenge of working under a time scale but its nice after a year to do something at my own pace. I went to M&S at dinner and bought a belgian chocolate twist (can you guess I love chocolate), some raspberries and blueberries with a strawberry yogurt! I think all of these are a go to buy when I go to M&S from now on! Today I met up with my best girlfriends and we went out for dinner at a place called Level. Its a gorgeous Italian restaurant with great service and most importantly the food is amazing! I opted for a chicken and ham pizza. We washed our meals down with a strawberry woo woo pitcher which was so nice, we always have to get one of these whenever we go there just too hard to resist! After we had finished out meals we went down the road to a gelato parlour! There ice creams are the best I've tasted, the flavours are incredible! I got two scoops of course, they were Ferrero Rocher and Nutella! Both delicious! I often pop in here to get either ice cream or waffles with ice cream!

Small beauty haul!!

I recently took a trip to my local Boots and 99p store. I found myself NEEDING these products. I have a huge product with wanting things but when it comes to beauty its always a need. I cant help myself. I was so excited to find my favourite concealer from Collection was in stock! I love the way it hides imperfections and dark circles on the face, without looking cakey or creasing. Another amazing thing about this product is that it is so cheap and does the job of a high end products for more than half the price. I bought three as I wasn't risking running out and not being able to get hold of any again, as I spent over a certain amount I received a free Bronze Glow bronzer which I cant wait to try out. I LOVE BRONZERS! Ive recently been breaking out a lot and heard a lot of beauty bloggers taking about the Garnier Micellar cleansing water, so I decided to give it ago. I went for the one which mattifies as I have oily skin. Its great how this product is two in one as is both cleanses and tones at the same time. I got some round cotton pads to use this with as you cant have too many of these! With me breaking out so much I wanted to buy a BB cream as I don't want to be having to wear foundation every day. I was so happy that this product does so much for the skin including the built in primer. The last thing i purchased from the 99p store was some pore strips. Ive been meaning to try these out for ages but haven't got round to it. Hopefully they do the job as good as the more expensive brands. Im planning to do a June favourites so stay tuned to see if any of these products make it!!

Eyeshadow

Makeup has always been something that I've loved playing round with since I can remember. I love how one product can change the whole look for a particular day! For this look I wanted to practise different eyeshadow looks with my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I've always liked a challenge and I wanted to create something different for a change. This is the look that I came up with! I tried a different way of doing the eyeshadow concentrating on the slight winged edge matching my eyeliner. It wasn't the best but practise makes perfect and I'm going to keep going at it. I really liked the finished look as it gave a slightly grungey look. This was perfect as it went great with the dress and necklace which I chose for the day.

River island wish list

Here are just a few pieces I found on river island website that I'm loving at the moment! If only I could afford to buy them all, but because of my student funds unfortunately theres only a few things I could buy. Ive picked things that are quite casual but can be dressed up with the accessories that I've chosen from the website too. Im in love with any outfit that includes mesh fabric at the moment and its a perfect material for the heat of summer. I think any of these garments would be able to be paired with different items that you will already have in your wardrobe to make the perfect summer outfit.

Ombre Lip:

I recently purchased this Rimmel Black Tulip lip line from Boots. I instantly fell in love with the colour as soon as it caught my eye. I had the fabulous excuse to buy it, as I knew it would go perfectly with my Mac Mehr lipstick. Ombre lips have been very popular recently, and I have tried it with a few different lip liners and lipsticks at home and loved the effect that it gave of bigger lips along with the gorgeous look it gives off. Out of all of the ombre looks this one definitely has to be my favourite by far. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
